About NSS College of Engineering

NSS College of Engineering, Palakkad, was established in 1960 by the Nair Service Society under the leadership of Bharatha Kesari Mannathu Padmanabhan. NSS College of Engineering, Palakkad, is a renowned engineering institution in Kerala affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. It boasts a rich heritage of producing skilled engineering professionals who have excelled nationally and internationally. Currently offering B.Tech. programs in six branches and M.Tech. programs in various specializations, the college is recognized as an approved research center by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University.

About Institution of Engineers (India) [IE(I)]

The Institution of Engineers (India), or IE(I), is a professional engineering organization in India. It was established in 1920 and is headquartered in Kolkata. IE(I) promotes and advances the engineering profession in India, offering various programs, events, and publications. IE(I) has served the engineering fraternity for over a century, boasting a national and international presence through 125 centers, 6 overseas chapters, 7 fora, and the Engineering Staff College of India. It acts as a platform for engineers to exchange knowledge, network, and contribute to the development of the engineering community in the country.

About IE(I) Electrical Chapter NSSCE

Established in 1990's IE(I) Electrical Chapter NSSCE is one of the long-standing society in NSSCE. In recent years, IE(I) Electrical Chapter NSSCE has been one of the active chapters of IE(I). The chapter has a well-organized core team and more than 300 active members who together act as a driving force. IE(I) Electrical Chapter NSSCE has organised countless activities, including workshops, industrial visits, talk sessions, webinars, bootcamps, hackathons, etc., which have helped to uplift the skillsets of more than 1000 students. Currently, the chapter mobilises activities on a weekly basis to help students enhance their skills and personalities.

 

IE(I) Electrical Chapter NSSCE will continue to contribute to the process of moulding the students into socially responsible and morally committed engineers.
